Change Over Time

Design Problem 2

1. Develop a logotype for a conference, publication, or performance. Ours is for a conference called "Loop: Post–Media Revolution." The logotype will be used in print, signage, and motion application. Design the logotype so that it suggest movement and change in its printed form.

2. Apply the logo to printed pieces, such as a postcard, poster, or flyer, as well as to a large–scale banner or sign. In each application, use scale, cropping, material, and placement to emphasize your underlying visual concept. Use Photoshop to represent large–scale applications.

3. Create a looping animation, approximately 10 seconds long. A well–designed loop will return to its beginning state in a seamless and logical way. Develop a storyboard to plan the animation.
