Typographic Layers

Design Problem 2

1. In everyday life as well as in films and animations, multiple stories unfold simultaneously. Begin this typographic exercise by creating three texts that describe three narratives unfolding simultaneously during a short period of time.

2. Devise ways to represent all three stories on the same surface. Working within an 8-x-8-inch square, use typography, icons, lines, and other elements. Whether the final piece is an easy-to-follow transcription or a poetic depiction, construct distinct layers or visual channels. Each story has its own layer.
